Please read our letting guide and draft tenancy agreement prior to submitting your application.

Referecing

Upon receiving both tenant and guarantor application forms these will be sent to an independent referencing agency and specified referees will be contacted undertaking a credit check, the results of which will be sent to the landlord for their approval. Upon satisfactory references and guarantors we will make an appointment for signing the Tenancy Agreement.

Tenancy paper work

A Tenancy agreement will be drawn up, detailing what agreements between the tenant and the landlord, and what is required of each party. These will then be signed by both parties and copies will be distributed. An inventory of the contents and condition of the property is usually produced prior to commencement of the tenancy. This will be supplied to both landlord and tenant. You should look through the contents carefully to ensure that you agree with the state and condition of the property.

Check in

Initial rent and deposit balances must be received prior to the tenancy and the signing of documents. At your signing appointment, which will last about one hour maximum we will read through our terms and conditions and the tenancy agreement to make sure you understand how your tenancy will work and how we work. We will either make an appointment to meet you at the property to hand over your keys on the day your Tenancy Agreement starts or arrange a time for you to collect them from your agent.
